I played connect the dots with your beauty marks
And I ended up with picture perfect sheet music
I read your musical notes with a composer's eyes
And heard our song for the first time
My spine is still tingling, mental images of your fine tune
is what I've been nodding my head to lately
Every now and then you can catch me humming
your nudity under my heavy breath
I heavily suggest you resurrect
your ancient neglected dust collector
If you distrust the distance in my seldom plucked heart strings
Sit stripped before your full length
Perform your reflection backwards
Maybe then you will understand the rhythm in my movement
Listen when the news is sent
Extend when the rules are bent
I'll be waiting to take your leave
Make me a victim of your two step
Make me an apprentice of your body parts
Teach me to dance to your beauty marks
I'm stepping on toes here and I don't care
It's hopeless, it's hopeless
It's hopelessness holding this openess to blow a kiss
So close your lips but don't get pissed
and throw a fist at this vocalist
I'm not emotionless, in fact I broke my wrist
when I wrote the list of all those I miss
This is my poker face, Mister Feel Nothing

are like apples
on trees. The best ones
are at the top of the tree.
The boys dont want to reach
for the good ones because they
are afraid of falling and getting hurt.
Instead, they just get the rotten apples
from the ground that aren't as good,
but easy. So the apples at the top think
something is wrong with them, when in
reality, they're amazing. They just
have to wait for the right boy to
come along, the one who's
brave enough to
climb all
the way
to the top
of the tree.

Wow. Something so dumb and such a cliché is SO TRUE.

It was supposed to be in the form of an apple tree, but that didn't quite work out.

Ok so um...I kind of saw Wicked yesterday?

HOLY FUCKING SHIT IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING. I seriously cried twice. Once after "Defying Gravity" and once when Dorothy throws the bucket of water on the Witch.

Alright, Adelia and Nick are coming over soon, so I swear that I'll fill in with details about the utter amazing-ness of it later.

1. Get your playlist together, put it on random, and play.
2. Write down the first line from the first 15 songs that play, or close to it.
3. Post and let everyone you know guess what song the lines came from. No Googling the lyrics!
4. Bold the songs when someone guesses correctly.

I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.

I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.

I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.

We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.

I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.

I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me.

I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.

I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.

We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.

I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.

I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.

I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.

I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.

I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.

I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didn't have to always deal with society hating me.

I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.

I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.

I rented Closer yesterday and watched it, obviously. It was....interesting/weird/well done. In a nutshell, it's a movie about sex and love at first sight. Natalie Portman and Clive Owen both receieved Oscar nominations for their characters and after seeing this movie, I completely understand why. Clive Owen plays a sex addicted dermatologist. He gets involved with Julia Roberts first, who's a professional photographer. He Natalie Portman plays a stripper who comes to England from New York City. She and Jude Law become involved first. Jude Law ends up cheating on her while Julia Roberts is taking his picture. The rest of the movie bounces between Clive Owen and Natalie Portman, Julia Roberts and Clive Owen, Julia Roberts and Jude Law, and Jude Law and Natalie Portman. The movie also seems to jump back in time at some points and you don't really have a sense of what is presently going on. Anyway. Yeah, Natalie Portman and Clive Owen's characters were definitely the best and most interesting.

Nothing else to say. Have a splendid Monday everybody. =)

Horoscopes By Mr. A Sandler =D [03 Nov 2005|02:49pm]
[ mood | cheerful ]

Aquarius (Jan 23 - Feb 22) You have an inventive mind and are inclined to be progressive. You lie a great deal. You make the same mistakes repeatedly because you are stupid. Everyone thinks you are a fucking jerk.

Pisces (Feb 23 - Mar 22) You are a pioneer type and think most people are dickheads. You are quick to reprimand, impatient and full of advice. You do nothing but piss-off everyone you come in contact with. You are a prick.

Aries (Mar 23 - April 22) You have a wild imagination and often think you are being followed by the FBI or CIA. You have major influence on your friends and people resent you for flaunting your power. You lack confidence but are still a general bad ass.

Taurus (April 23 - May 22) You are practical and persistent. You have a dogged determination and work like hell. Most people think you are stubborn and bullheaded. You are nothing but a goddamed communist.

Gemini (May 23 - June 22) You are a quick and intelligent thinker. People like you because you are bisexual. You are inclined to expect too much for too little. This means you are a cheap bastard. Geminis are notorious for thriving on incest.

Cancer (June 23 - July 22) You are sympathetic and
understanding to other people's problems, which makes you a sucker. You are always putting things off. That is why you will always be on welfare and won't be worth a shit. Everyone in prison is a Cancer.

Leo (July 23 - Aug 22) You consider yourself a born leader. Others think you are an idiot. Most leos are bullies. You are vain and cannot tolerate criticism. Your arrogance is disgusting. Leo people are thieving motherfuckers and enjoy masturbation more than sex.

Virgo (Aug 23 - Sept 22) You are a logical type and hate disorder. Your shit-picking attitude is sickening to your friends and co-workers. You are cold and unemotional and often fall asleep while fucking. Virgos make good bus drivers and pimps.

Libra (Sept 23 - Oct 22) You are the artistic type and have a difficult time dealing with reality. If you are a male you are probably queer. Chances for employment and monetary gain are nill. Most Libra women are whores. All Libras die of venereal disease.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 22) You are the worst of the lot. You are shrewd in business and cannot be trusted. You shall achieve the pinnacle of success because of your total lack of ethics. You are the perfect son-of-a-bitch. Most Scorpios are murdered.

Sagittarius (Nov 23 - Dec 22) You are optimistic and enthusiastic. You have a reckless tendency to rely on your luck since you have no talent. The majority of Sagittarians are drunks. You are a worthless piece of shit.

Capricorn (Dec 23 - Jan 22) You are conservative and afraid of taking risks. You are basically chickenshit. There has never been a Capricorn of any importance. You should kill yourself.

"take me again," she said, thinking of him
"to the pond with the swans and the swimming"
far from his room the familiar perfume
how it felt to her when she was naked
lessons she learned when her memory slurs
as they marvel with love at the sunset
walking away at the dark end of day
she will measure and break like a habit
oh how the rain sounds as light as a lover’s word
and now and again she’s afraid when the sun returns

Good lord. If you've never listened to Iron & Wine, please do so ASAP. In fact, I'm uploading his album "Our Endless Numbered Days" for you guys. (Yeah, Iron & Wine is one guy! Very weird.) Anyway, it's right here.

I mean, honestly, it's probably the best and most beautiful guitar music I've ever heard. It's the guy singing and playing his acoustic guitar, with some occasional banjo. He has a great voice (very soothing) and it's just....AH. Absolutely wonderful. Listen to him NOW.

I thought it was good. Very good, actually. At least a good adventure.

And Clive Owen and Ioan Gruffudd are extremely extremely hott. And Keira Knightley is gorgeous.

So I watched Cruel Intentions today. You know, the movie with Ryan Phillippe, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon, and Selma Blair.

Errr...Sarah Michelle's character was a complete bitch and I really didn't like her. Ryan Phillippe's voice annoys the hell out of me. It's so flat and monotonous. Reese Witherspoon was fine and Selma Blair's character was so desperate. I suppose the actors did a good job, though, because I felt myself hating Sarah Michelle and chuckling at Selma Blair's ridiculous behavior.

Weird movie. Weird idea.

Waking up at 6 tomorrow (A SUNDAY) for a soccer tournament. Ugggggh. Oh the things I do for the sport I love.
